Fashion Photo Shoot at the prestigious Addington Palace, Croydon

Did a fashion photo shoot last Sunday for new fashion magazine, Perfect, at the prestigious Addington Palace, Croydon.

As always, I like to get to know my subject and my approach is to spend some time with a quick introductions with both the makeup artists and models and to learn bit about their style, their work, finding out what they want from today and in return I quickly gave them my view of what to expect. While they got ready, I explored the Palace and noted areas that would make an interesting set.

My first shoot was of the beautiful Ikram Faraji, an experienced Moroccan model. Few test shots making sure the camera behaved, getting the lighting right, ensuring Ikram was comfortable and off we went. Changing the poses, changing the location I got some brilliant shots of her in western bridal wear.

Towards the end of the day I photoed the elegant Himani Nayyar in Eastern bridal wear.
All in all, a wonderful day and the images speaks a thousand words about the models, makeup artist and clothes - and possibly even the photographer!
